Senior Citizen Facts

The phenomenon of aging is fascinating; it has always been an extensive area of study.
All the information contained in DNA is getting altered in time. Most of it because of free radicals (cell poison) accumulated in the cell, in time superoxide dismutase, enzime responsible for their removal, is produced in smaller amount, which leads to cell death.
Also genetic defects as in Wermer disease will accelerate cell death.
Each type of cells has limited cycles of replication, limited genetically or by other internal or external factors, when that limit is removed the growth spurt is unlimited, eventually this type of cells will give up their function in exchange for increasing population becoming tumors.

Abuse is ugly reality for many people!

All forms of abuse when recognized must be reported to the authorities.
